Welcome to HunAviation. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and flight training services. By accessing our website or enrolling in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Introduction

HunAviation is an EASA-certified Approved Training Organization (ATO) providing professional flight training services in Hungary. These terms apply to all students, prospective students, and website visitors.

2. Services Description

2.1 Flight Training Programs

We offer the following EASA-certified training programs:

• PPL (Private Pilot License): Initial flight training for recreational flying
• ATPL Theory: Theoretical knowledge course for airline transport pilot license
• IR (Instrument Rating): Training for instrument flight conditions
• CPL (Commercial Pilot License): Training for commercial pilot operations

2.2 Additional Services

We also provide:

• ICAO Aviation English training
• EASA Medical examination assistance
• Visa application support for international students
• Student accommodation

3. Enrollment and Requirements

3.1 Age Requirements

• PPL: Minimum 17 years for license issue (16 for solo flight)
• CPL: Minimum 18 years

3.2 Medical Requirements

All student pilots must hold a valid EASA medical certificate appropriate for their license level:

• Class 2 Medical for PPL training
• Class 1 Medical for CPL/ATPL training

3.3 Documentation

Students must provide:

• Valid passport or ID document
• Proof of medical certificate
• Completed enrollment forms
• Payment or payment agreement

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and are subject to change without notice. Current pricing is displayed on our Services page.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept:

• Bank transfer (SEPA and international wire)
• Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
• Cash payments at our office

4.3 Payment Schedule

• Enrollment deposit: 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your training slot
• Ground school: Due before commencement of theoretical training
• Flight training: Block payments or pay-as-you-fly options available

4.4 Additional Costs

The following costs are not included in standard program fees unless otherwise specified:

• EASA examination fees
• Medical examination costs
• Accommodation and living expenses
• Study materials beyond standard issue
• Additional flight hours beyond minimum requirements

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Before Training Commencement

• More than 30 days before start: Full refund minus deposit
• 15-30 days before start: 50% refund minus deposit
• Less than 15 days before start: No refund

5.2 During Training

• Theory training: Prorated refund for uncompleted modules
• Flight training: Refund for pre-paid but unused flight hours (minus 10% administration fee)

5.3 Training Suspension

If training is suspended for medical or visa reasons, pre-paid hours may be held for up to 12 months. Extensions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

6. Student Responsibilities

Students agree to:

• Attend scheduled lessons punctually
• Maintain valid medical certification throughout training
• Follow all safety procedures and instructor guidance
• Report any health issues that may affect flight safety
• Respect school property and fellow students
• Comply with all applicable aviation regulations

7. Training Standards

7.1 Progress Requirements

Students must demonstrate satisfactory progress. Additional training may be required at student's cost if progress is below standard.

7.2 Examination Attempts

Students are permitted a reasonable number of examination attempts as per EASA regulations. Additional preparation training between attempts is billed separately.

8. Liability Limitations

8.1 Training Liability

HunAviation maintains appropriate insurance for training operations. Students are covered under this insurance during authorized training activities only.

8.2 Personal Property

HunAviation is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property on our premises or in aircraft.

8.3 Training Delays

We are not liable for training delays caused by:

• Weather conditions
• Aircraft maintenance requirements
• Regulatory changes
• Force majeure events

9. Intellectual Property

All training materials, course content, and documentation provided by HunAviation remain our intellectual property. Students may not copy, distribute, or sell these materials.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes shall be resolved in Hungarian courts unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Amendments

HunAviation reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to enrolled students. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
