Everything you need to know about pilot training
Career and Planning
For candidates aiming for a pilot career in Turkey, planning which phase of training to complete where is crucial. The flight-intensive and most expensive parts of pilot training are the PPL and PIC (time building) phases. In Turkey, these costs are significantly higher due to fuel, taxes, and operational expenses.
Therefore, completing PPL and PIC in Europe offers significant advantages in both cost and operational efficiency. While PPL training in Turkey averages €20,000 and PIC flight hours cost €250-300, in Europe PPL is approximately €9,950 and PIC flights are around €150/hour.
After completing practical flight phases, continuing with more theory-focused licenses like CPL and ATPL in Turkey eliminates the need for license conversion, making the process more predictable and economical.
Starting training in Europe enables candidates to gain operational flight experience in busy airspace and adapt early to international aviation procedures and air traffic control (ATC) communication. The training provided in this environment significantly contributes to candidates becoming more equipped, competent, and competitive profiles both during training and in later career stages.
Additionally, instructors effectively using English as the training and operational language supports candidates in naturally mastering aviation terminology, standard radio communications, and professional aviation English. This strengthens communication skills and enhances operational safety in international aviation environments.
Generally, vision defects do not prevent becoming a pilot; if they can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses when necessary, a license can be obtained.
General Information
PPL (Private Pilot License) allows you to fly as pilot in non-commercial flights. It's the first step in a pilot career and a prerequisite for all advanced licenses.
ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) allows you to work as a captain in commercial airlines. It's the highest level pilot license.
CPL (Commercial Pilot License) allows you to fly for compensation. It's required to work as a first officer at airlines.
Hour Building is a program to accumulate the 200+ flight hours required to become an airline pilot. You fly as PIC (Pilot in Command) to gain experience. Starting at €150/hour.
EASA license is valid in all 27 EU member states plus Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. It can also be converted to other country licenses through validation processes, including Turkey, USA, and many others.

Training Process
PPL training takes 4-6 weeks, Hour Building varies by needs, and Zero to ATPL program takes 12-18 months. Training schedule can be flexible based on student availability.
PPL training includes 45 total flight hours. 35 hours are with an instructor and 10 hours are solo flights. All flights are conducted with our Cessna 150, Cessna 152 and Cessna 172 aircraft.
Zero to ATPL includes all training from zero experience to airline pilot level: PPL, Hour Building, IR (Instrument Rating), CPL, Multi-Engine Rating, MCC and ATPL theory. Total duration is 12-18 months.
Flight training is conducted in English according to international standards. However, we provide support in various languages for our international students.
Our fleet includes Cessna 150, Cessna 152, Cessna 172 (G1000 glass cockpit), Cessna 310 and Cessna 340 aircraft. PPL training is with single-engine aircraft, Multi-Engine training with twin-engine aircraft.
Requirements
