Career & Planning

For aspiring pilots, planning where to take each stage of training is crucial. The most expensive part of training involves flight hours (PPL and Time Building). In many countries, operational costs and taxes make this very expensive.

Completing PPL and Time Building in Europe offers significant cost and operational advantages. For example, PPL training in Hungary is approximately €9,950, and PIC flight hours are around €150/hour, which is significantly lower than in many other regions. After completing practical flight training, you can proceed to CPL and ATPL theory, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient path to the cockpit.

Starting your training in Europe allows you to gain operational flight experience in busy airspace and adapt to international aviation procedures and ATC communication from an early stage. This environment contributes significantly to building a more competent and competitive profile.

Additionally, since English is the language of instruction and operation, you will naturally master aviation terminology and standard radio phraseology, enhancing your professional communication skills.

Generally, no. Wearing glasses or contact lenses is not an obstacle to becoming a pilot, provided that your vision can be corrected to the required standards. As long as you can pass the Class 1 Medical examination with correction, you can fly.

GENERAL

General Information

PPL (Private Pilot License) allows you to fly non-commercially. It is the first step in a pilot's career and a prerequisite for all advanced licenses.

ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) is the highest level of aircraft pilot certification. It allows you to act as a Captain (Pilot in Command) on scheduled air carriers.

CPL (Commercial Pilot License) allows you to fly for compensation or hire. It is a mandatory license to work as a First Officer in airlines.

Hour Building is the process of accumulating flight hours as a Pilot in Command (PIC) to meet the 200+ hours requirement for commercial airline pilot applications. Our program starts at €150/hour.

The EASA license is valid in all EASA member states (EU countries) without conversion. For other countries (like Turkey, USA, etc.), a validation or conversion process is required by the local Civil Aviation Authority, but EASA is one of the most widely recognized standards globally.

TRAINING

Training Process

PPL training usually takes 4–6 weeks, PIC Hour Building depends on your schedule, and the Zero to ATPL program takes 12–18 months. Durations may vary based on student performance and weather conditions.

PPL training consists of 45 flight hours total. 35 hours are dual (with an instructor) and 10 hours are solo flights. All flights are conducted on our Cessna 150, 152, and 172 aircraft.

The Zero to ATPL program takes you from zero experience to an airline-ready level. It includes PPL, Hour Building, IR (Instrument Rating), CPL, Multi-Engine Rating, MCC, and ATPL Theory.

Flight training is conducted entirely in English, in accordance with international standards. All theory and practical sessions are in English.

Our fleet includes Cessna 150, Cessna 152, Cessna 172 (with G1000 glass cockpit), Cessna 310, and Cessna 340 aircraft. PPL is done on single-engine aircraft, while Multi-Engine training is done on twin-engine aircraft.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

You must be at least 17 years old, have a high school diploma, obtain a Class 1 or Class 2 Medical certificate, and have sufficient English proficiency.

Class 1 Medical is the most comprehensive medical certificate required for commercial pilots. It is issued after a detailed examination at an aviation medical center. It is mandatory for ATPL training.

Yes, we provide full support for the student visa application process. We prepare the necessary invitation letters and documents for the Hungarian student visa.
